For Immediate Release: Brian Hartzog Celebrates Web Traffic Milestone at Wine Up! in NoDaOn Friday, June 4th at Charlotte NC's Wine Up!, Brian Hartzog will be performing a special version of his Funk and Roll Show to celebrate a web traffic milestone. Hartzog's music website, http://www.brianhartzog.com, now averages over 5,000 unique visitors a month. To celebrate, Hartzog will be giving away free CD singles to everyone who joins his mailing list at the show. As an indie artist, Brian Hartzog is precluded from mass media outlets like MTV and commercial radio. To get his music heard, Hartzog, like most artists, he has resorted to the Internet and live shows to find his audience. Hartzog has blended his unique experience as both a web designer and a musician to develop the kind of website that attracts interested visitors. The site he started last year to promote his music now reaches over 166 unique visitors a day--that's over 5,000 visitors a month. Hartzog, a self-proclaimed indie artist, mixes funk and classic rock into a decidedly alternative blend of original music and spoken word. His celebration version of The Funk and Roll Show starts at 9 p.m. on Friday June 4th at Wine Up!, located behind Boudreaux's Kitchen on 36th Street and North Davidson. Cover charge is $5. Wine Up! is non-smoking.
